Imo State Athletic Association is a sport association under the auspices of Imo State Sports Commission. The association is governed by board of Trustees. Trustee members comprise of professionals from all works of life who share in-depth passion for athletics.
To revive and return athletics in Imo State back to its former glory, it is crucial to invest in and support the development of young athletes. By providing them with the necessary resources, training facilities, and coaching, we can create a pathway for the next generation of superstars to pursue successful careers in sports.
It is important to recognize the rich history and tradition of athletics in Imo State and to build upon that foundation. By fostering a culture of excellence and competition, we can inspire our young athletes to strive for greatness and reach their full potential.
Additionally, by working closely with schools, sports clubs, and community organizations, we can identify and nurture talent at a grassroots level. Through mentorship programs, scholarships, and opportunities for participation in regional and national competitions, we can help young athletes develop their skills and compete at the highest levels.
